Ok. The part below is played on an electric. You may have some trouble developing the swell with your acoustic though. If you can get to your volume on your acoustic easily, try doing that. Just start quiet and build up. Since there are no fingerings for it, you should be able to do it. Just use your judgement on the swell. It’s much different on an electric, but you CAN do it on an acoustic. This song is about people who claim to not be crazy even though they’re suffering from various occurrences that could lead them to be labeled as such.

Rob Thomas said that he wrote the song as a metaphor for humanity in general, a song for people who are “messed up and feel alone like that. We all feel a little messed up sometimes… you’re not alone.”
