“Jack and Diane” by John Cougar Mellencamp

    Difficulty: Easy

Ok. The part below is played on an electric. You may have some trouble developing the swell with your acoustic though. If you can get to your volume on your acoustic easily, try doing that. Just start quiet and build up. Since there are no fingerings for it, you should be able to do it. Just use your judgement on the swell. It’s much different on an electric, but you CAN do it on an acoustic. Use your left hand to build the swell with your volume, and your right to pick the open D notes.Read More »“Jack and Diane” by John Cougar Mellencamp
