As you may notice, Temple of the Dog was a combination of Soundgarden and Pearl Jam, both before they became successful rock bands. Pearl Jam is still playing, and the lead singer from Soundgarden, Chris Cornell,
is now the lead singer for Audioslave. This riff is set to 70 bpm (beats per minute) and is easy to play. This theme is played mostly throughout the song, with a few variations in the chorus.
