The band delivered eerie hooks and subversive yet powerful lead components to create a new sense of music that for the most part was unheard of until their debut. Lead singer Maynard James Keenan is also the voice behind A Perfect Circle, now with former Smashing Pumpkins member James Iha is on lead guitar.
