Difficulty: Easy – Intermediate
This isn’t too difficult a solo to learn. It’s possible to play much of the solo with a single finger. One of the things that stand out in this solo is the use of the open high E string. It
creates quite an exotic sound.
Here’s a breakdown of the solo:
This last part contains the fastest run. It begins with a common repeating pattern that should be part of everyone’s lead guitar trick bag. The solo closes out with a whammy bar dip (Eddie loves his whammy bar), so if your guitar isn’t equipped with one you won’t be able to do this part. That may be a good thing because that dang whammy bar can knock you out of tune in the blink of an eye.
