Intro

Measures 1-4
Measures 5-8

How To Play It

Begin the first measure by placing your 1st finger on the third fret on the “low E” string. Place your 3rd and 4th fingers on the “A” string and the “D” string. Play that twice, and then mute the strings as shown. Next, end the measure by barring the third frets with your 1st finger on the “low E” string, the “D” string, and the “G” string. You will also be barring the “A” string by default, but just don’t play it.

For the fifth measure, place your 1st finger on the first fret on the “low E” string. Place your 3rd and 4th fingers on the third frets on the “A” string and the “D” string. Play that about three times, and then use your 1st finger for the first fret on the “B” string, and your 3rd or 4th finger for the third fret on the “high E” string to end the measure.

To play the sixth measure, place your fingers just as you did in the fifth measure for the beginning. Then, play the first fret on the “low E” string about four times. Here you will be hammering-on. Do this by using your 2nd finger for the second fret on the “low E” string. Play that to end the measure.

For the eighth measure, you will need to slide on the “A” string from the third fret to the fifth fret with your 1st finger. Then, you will need to use your 1st finger for the third fret on the “G” string. Play that once, and then use your 3rd or 4th finger to play the fifth fret, bending it one full note. Listen to the audio to help you with that. What you are trying to do is make the fifth fret sound when bent like the seventh fret on the same string. End the measure by using your 1st finger for the third fret on the same string.
