TAB BENOIT is a Louisiana-based blues guitarist, musician, and singer, whose style combines swamp blues, soul blues and Chicago blues. His 2006 recording “Brother To The Blues” was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Traditional Blues Album, although it has country roots as well.
Benoit is active in wetlands preservation and is featured in the IMAX film, Hurricane on the Bayou.
- On May 16, 2010, Benoit was inducted into The Louisiana Music Hall Of Fame.
