This session is dedicated to sight reading.

Step One

  • Repeat the warm up 1 routine. You don’t have to beat your previous max bpm. You should have hit a new high in our last practice session. In today’s practice session, just try to repeat your prior success.  So, if you started out at 60 bpm, you should now be at 62 bpm. Click here for a printable version of the warm up routine.

Step Two

  • Download and print out “Fire”, “Money For Nothing”, and “Hurt” from the Song Library.

Step Three

  • Before you listen to the audio session linked below, you may want to take a look at these two lessons:  note values and measures as I talk about them a lot in the audio. You don’t have to be an expert just yet, but it will help getting familiar with the things I’m speaking of. Also, if you don’t know how to read guitar tablature, please learn the basics, pronto!
