Lola by The Kinks

“Lola” is a classic rock song by the British band The Kinks, released in 1970. It is one of the band’s most famous tracks and has been widely recognized for its storytelling, humor, and progressive take on gender and identity.

“Lola” tells the story of a young man who meets a mysterious woman named Lola in a club. The two dance and spend the evening together, and the narrator is charmed by Lola’s confidence and allure.
