Your tuning is standard. This one is meant to be played on an
electric, but the concept is still roughly the same. It's just
a little harder to keep those notes ringing, and the palm mutes
are a little awkward.

Do this as well. This song has so much opportunity for improv!
In Part B, you begin your palm mutes. Do this by laying your
picking hand over the strings just a little to dampen them. You
end the palm mutes when you move to 2/4 timing. The rests in between
are about a 6 count. Of course, you can do this however you feel
it, since it's easy to get back into the movement of the gallop.
Watch closely at Part C. You need to play triplets for the Am
chords. To do this, literally count 1-2-3. (not one "and")
I dropped the drum machine out about here, and just played the
theme to end over and over.
