A lot of people make the mistake of not learning important aspects of the guitar because they never understood key concepts. This selective learning is a bad habit. It is your job as a student to learn as much about the guitar as you can.
You can’t just assume that you won’t need the information in the future. You’ll only regret it later. It’s like trying to put a puzzle together; only to realize, in the middle of it all, that you don’t have all the pieces to complete the puzzle. Can you see how frustrating this could be?
