This is a fretting exercise dealing with dexterity using your 1st, 3rd, and 4th finger.
On the lines with the pull-offs from 8 to 5, use your 1st and 4th finger.
On the lines with the pull-offs from 7 to 5, use your 1st and 3rd finger.
Sets and Reps
Perform this exercise:
- 3 sets of 20 (rest 30 secs between each set)
This equals 3 sets with a total of 60 reps.
For an added workout, play this both ascending AND descending.

100 BPM (follow sets from above)
120 BPM (follow sets from above)
140 BPM (2 sets of 10 recommended)

180 BPM (2 sets of 10 recommended)
200 BPM (1 set of 10 recommended)
220 BPM (1 set of 10 recommended)
P.S. – If you are attempting the Supplemental Workout, be sure to rest for AT LEAST 1 minute between each set.
