This is a beautiful song that uses simple open chords. Instead of strumming the chords, you’ll be playing the chords as arpeggios. This might pose trouble for some, but it’s not too difficult to master.
You can either fingerpick it or use you pick. If you use your pick you’ll have to hybrid pick in a couple of spots (see video below).
