D for drop D tuning.
Intro/Verse
This is the easiest riff in this lesson. Apply a small amount of palm mute. Use your 1st finger to play the notes on the 9th fret and use your 3rd finger to play the notes on the 11th fret and your 4th finger to play the notes on the 12th fret.
